THIS IS NOT COMEDY, THOUGH IT IS AMUSING IN PLACES: Oct 26/2016: Desolate Meanderings Did my reconstruction of this video stir any old memories for the crooked broadcasters who made so much money from stealing my work and selling it to their sponsors? It must have, because I caught someone else acting it all out after I erased it in 2007 and then I complained about it on Blogger. It was back when George W. Bush was the president and he used his presidential power to crush artists and promote frauds in their place, frauds such as his speech provider, CBC's David Frum. It sure helped you corporations to know that the highest office in the land supported your crimes against my work and image, didn't it? I'd complain and complain and complain, but nothing would change and your stars would just go ahead and steal my complaints and use them for comedy. I wasn't stoned in this video. In fact, I hadn't even smoked a cigarette for three days before I made it. This is probably the me that is the most familiar to those who've known me all my life: kind of an animated person, very vigorous and idealistic. I improvised the whole thing, of course, even though it probably duplicates my 2007 post on the same subject. I find myself laughing the hardest at myself in this one because I was trying to be serious and I look rather comical, as though the ground beneath my feet will collapse at any moment. That glower is also quite hilarious, though I was dead serious with my statements about how broadcasters have corrupted the American dream with their support for hit song fraud and hit blog/vlog fraud committed by people who already had their success, which of course, deprived me of my success with my work. I'm the ordinary person who is supposed to be fabulously successful with my work, not Mike Myers or Mick Jagger. They already had their success. I'm not sure if I got a chance to bash that band for their cookie song in 2007, which I think was a deliberate hate anthem used to help frauds look better with work they stole from me. And my preference for old pop hits like Don't Walk Away Rene is supported by my guitar picking in my video Positively Electric, though I'm rather out of practice at the moment. Not my voice, though. My voice is as loud and strong as ever. I want any video that robs this video erased from the web and their makers punished for violating my copyright. This is a serious discussion, even if I'm a somewhat comical looking individual. IMPORTANT: Nov 8/2016: I should also add here, with regard to the issue of trust, that when I said you trusted me because you knew I was speaking from my heart, you knew I was speaking from my heart because I offered my work to you for free on the web. I did not charge you for my work like all those fraud stars with my work, who the TV and radio want you to love - which, of course, would leave you hating me in their place. |
